ITINERARY

DAY 1 DEPARTURE AIRPORT, Philippines
Check-in airline, enjoy inflight amenities and entertainment on-board.

DAY 2 ARRIVAL LJUBJLANA, Slovenia (D)

Arrival Ljubljana International Airport. Meet and assist with our guide then board your private coach heading to the city. We will then start to discover the capital city of Slovenia which is one of the most beautiful cities in the Balkan Region. During the city tour; Medieval Castle, City Hall, Cathedral of St. Nicholas, Triple Bridge, and Dragon Bridge will be seen. Have some free time to walk around and appreciate the charm and beauty of Ljubljana that captures the heart of its every visitor. In the evening, we transfer to hotel for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 3 LAKE BLED / LJUBJLANA, Slovenia (B/L/D)

Breakfast inside hotel then proceed to Lake Bled. Experience Pletna Boat ride to visit the island and Old Church of Assumption of Mary, also known as The Church of Mary the Queen inside it with the walking 99 steps to reach the top of the 14th century church. A sightseeing tour of Bled features the charming town with the lakeshore, and imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake with a view of romantic little island with its church and mysterious wishing bell. Ring the wishing bell, return to Bled by boat. Lunch will be in a restaurant with picturesque view. Afterwards we will drive back to the capital and enjoy some free time for shopping.  Dinner will be in local restaurant in Old Town. As the day ends, we will head back to our hotel in Ljubljana for overnight.

DAY 4 POSTOJNA, Slovenia / ZAGREB, Croatia (B/L/D)

Breakfast inside hotel then check-out and proceed to Postojna caves. The jaw-dropping Postojna Cave system, a series of caverns, halls, and passages some 24km long and two million years old, was hollowed out by the Pivka River, which enters temperature of 8°C to 10°C with a humidity of 95%, so a warm jacket and decent shoes are advised. Afterwards we will have our lunch then drive to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia. Croatia is the youngest member of the European Union and Croatia is one of the most developed countries in the Balkans. Upon arrival to Zagreb, have a city tour visiting the Dolac Bazaar, St. Mark Church, Stone Gate, Pope’s Tower, Ban Josip Jelacic Square, Lotrseak Church, and Mirogoj Park Cemetery. Spend free time until we transfer to hotel for check-in and overnight.

DAY 5 PLITVICE / ZADAR, Croatia (B/L/D)

Breakfast inside hotel then check-out and coach to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Plitvice National Park is one of the oldest in Southeast Europe and largest in Croatia. In 1979 it was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. It was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia, at the border to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The important north-south road connection, which passes through the national park area, connects the Croatian inland with the Adriatic coastal region. Lunch will be in Plitvice.  Afterwards drive to Zadar and proceed for city tour including visit to Sea Pipe Organ. The particularity of Zadar is irresistible for those who respect and admire historical monuments and cultural heritage, artists, tourists, and citizens. In the evening, we will have dinner before we transfer to hotel for check-in and overnight.

DAY 6 TROJIR / SPLIT, Croatia (B/L/D)

Breakfast inside hotel then check-out and depart to Trogir. Get a walk in that city which has town under UNESCO World Heritage listed. Visit the Old Town and the Romanesque portal of Trojir Cathedral and also Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Have free time to walk next to the Adriatic coast. Lunch will be enroute before we head to Split, start city tour by visiting the Diocletian’s Palace on the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage with Peristyle, Jupiter’s Temple, and the Cathedral. Enjoy a walking tour of the 1700 year old Diocletian’s Palace in the heart of Split’s old town. Free time for individual shopping in the Old Town before we gather again for dinner. In the evening we then proceed to our hotel for check in and overnight.

DAY 07 MALI STON / DUBROVNIK, Croatia (B/L/D)

Breakfast inside hotel then check out. Departure for Dubrovnik. Along the way we still stop at Mali Ston. Experience Oyster tasting and a glass of house wine. Lunch will be with Oyster Menu. Continue to Dubrovnik. Upon arrival, exploring will start with the walking tour of the city which is on the UNESCO’s List of Cultural Heritage. This ancient town, surrounded by ramparts and fortresses is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural master pieces, scrupulously preserved over the centuries. Here you will have Game of Thrones tour around the walled city, a pleasant walk that will take you to the Franciscan Monastery with its 14thcentury pharmacy, which is still operating today, and see other places of interest. Free time for shopping in Dubrovnik until we gather again for dinner in a restaurant with view of Adriatic Sea inside our hotel overlooking the port.

DAY 8 PERAST / KOTOR / BUDVA, Montenegro / DUBROVNIK, Croatia (B/L/D)

Breakfast inside hotel then depart for neighboring country of Montenegro. Firstly head to Kotor which is surrounded by high mountains reflected in the blue waters, a fjord-shape Bay of Kotor is one of the most spectacular landscapes on the Mediterranean. Drive along the bay past Risan and picturesque Perast, a home-town of many captains. Take a photo of man-made islet of Our Lady of the Rocks (Gospa od Skrpjela). Upon returning home safely, seamen dropped rocks and old boats filled with rocks in this place and gradually created the islet as the foundation for the church. Continue to Kotor, town that has always been providing a safe harbor to navigators and its famous merchant navy. Enjoy city tour of Kotor with its beautiful Romanesque Cathedral of St. Triphun, surrounded by walls and fortresses included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Our lunch will be with best view of Adriatic Sea. Afterwards, we drive to Budva which is known as Mosaic of Balkans. With most beautiful beaches, islands, and one of the oldest towns, Budva is welcoming to its every guest. Visit the Budva Old Town, Amphitheater, Catholic and Orthodox Churches then have some time on your own to enjoy rest of Budva. As the day ends, we will proceed back our hotel in Dubrovnik for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9 MEDJUGORJE, Bosnia & Herzegovina (B/L/D)

Breakfast inside hotel then check-out and depart to Medugorje. Upon arrival proceed for a city tour in Medjugorje. (Medjugorje (“between the hills”) has become well known in Bosnia-Hercegovina, and the world, because of six young people who claim to have seen visions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Beginning on June 24, 1981, the Blessed Mother appeared to, and later told the visionaries, God sent her to our world to help us convert our hearts and lives back to Him. Our Lady’s call is one of Peace, Love, Faith, Conversion, Prayer, and Fasting. In Međugorje we will visit the St. James Church after climbing the Apparition Hill. Free time for private devotion and meditation then we transfer to hotel for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 10 MOSTAR / SARAJEVO, Bosnia & Herzegovina (B/L/D)

Breakfast inside hotel then check-out and we will travel to Mostar. Here we will see the remains of the Turkish quarter and the reconstruction efforts on the 16th century stone bridge, today inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO. See the Muslibegovica House, an ideal example of Mostar’s grand houses of the Ottoman period and Karadjoz-bey mosque, considered to be the most beautiful mosque in the region of Herzegovina. Mostar was founded in the 15th century and is stunning in its beauty. The architecture is a precious combination of Turkish ingenuity and Herz. We will have our lunch then we continue to Sarajevo. Upon arrival, proceed for city tour. During the tour; Fire of Freedom, Old Library, Kursunlu Medrese, Catholic Churches, Bazaar, Begova Mosque, Sebil, Orthodox Church, and Fatih Mosque will be visited. Free time will be given before we proceed to hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 11 SARAJEVO, Bosnia & Herzegovina / DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast inside hotel then check-out. Free time for last minute shopping and picture taking until we transfer to airport and end our trip.

DAY 12 – ARRIVAL AIRPORT, Philippines!
