DAY 01: MANILA –  ROME

Depart Manila in the morning and arrive same day at the eternal city of Rome. Welcome to Rome. Upon arrival, a transfer will comfortably take you to the hotel where you will stay. You will have the opportunity to settle in and rest after the journey. In the evening, you will enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, where you can taste authentic Italian flavors while soaking up the Roman atmosphere. This will be the first immersion into the culture and hospitality of the Eternal City. After dinner, you will return to the hotel to rest and prepare for the next days of exploration. Overnight in Rome.

DAY 02 : Visit to the Basilicas of Rome

The day begins with a tour of Rome’s major basilicas, each with a unique history and beauty. You’ll first visit the Basilica of St. John Lateran, Rome’s cathedral and one of the oldest churches in the world. Then, you’ll head to the Basilica of St. Mary Major, famous for its stunning architecture and artwork. Finally, you’ll visit the Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, where the remains of the Apostle Paul are housed. This tour will allow you to immerse yourself in the city’s rich religious history. The afternoon will be free for you to enjoy Rome at your own pace. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Overnight in Rome.

DAY 03 : Papal Audience and Vatican Museums

This day will be special as you will attend the Papal Audience in St. Peter’s Square, a once-in-a-lifetime experience for those who wish to see the Pope and receive his blessing. After the audience, you will visit the Vatican Museums, which house one of the most important art collections in the world. You will admire Renaissance masterpieces such as the Sistine Chapel, painted by Michelangelo, and walk through the magnificent halls of the museum that are full of history and art. The visit will culminate in the imposing St. Peter’s Basilica, a sacred place and one of the largest and most beautiful churches in the world. The rest of the day will be free for you to explore the surroundings of the Vatican. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Overnight in Rome.

DAY 04: Rome to San Giovanni Rotondo

After an early breakfast, you’ll leave Rome for San Giovanni Rotondo, a picturesque village in the Puglia region, best known as the home of Padre Pio. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the Sanctuary of Padre Pio, an important pilgrimage site. Here, you’ll tour the sites associated with his life and legacy, including his tomb and the church he helped build. You’ll spend the rest of the day in the village, enjoying the tranquility and spirituality of the place.
