Panoramic Tagaytay Tour - 1 Day


The tour starts with a drive up to picturesque City of Tagaytay about an hour and a half drive. Located on the ridge 2,200 feet above sea level, the city offers a panoramic view of Taal Lake and Volcano – a lake within a volcano within a lake within a volcano. An awe-inspiring vista best savored from atop the Palace in the Sky, one of the rest houses of former President Ferdinand Marcos. On the way Tagaytay, visit San Jose Church to see the world famous Las Pinas Bamboo Organ built in the 19th century by Spanish priest Father Diego Cera, this organ made from about 800 bamboo pipes is said to produce a sound unlike any other. You will also visit a local jeepney assembly plant for an inside look on how this popular mode of transportation unique to the Philippines is built. Time permitting, you may also have a chance to stop by a pineapple or coffee plantation to sample the local produce or buy souvenirs from the furniture and wood carving shops dotting the roadside.
